freshly grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions
Place the chicken breasts at the bottom of the crockpot. Season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
In a mixing bowl, combine chicken broth, heavy cream, grated Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, and Italian seasoning. Mix well.
Pour the creamy mixture over the chicken breasts in the crockpot, making sure to cover them completely.
Cover the crockpot with a lid and cook on low for 6-7 hours or on high for 3-4 hours until the chicken is cooked through and tender.
In the last 30 minutes of cooking, stir in the baby spinach and cover again until wilted.
Once cooked, shred the chicken with two forks in the crockpot to create a creamy consistency.
Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary. Stir until everything is well combined.
Notes
Serve over rice or pasta, and garnish with parsley and extra Parmesan if desired.
